From 2015 to early 2017 I worked on my most ambitious project so far: I illustrated a 200+ page graphic novel, adapted from Laura Esquivel’s book “Pierced by The Sun”. It is currently on the way to being published by Penguin Random House in Latin America and Spain (in Spanish), and I’m currently looking for someone who may want to publish the english version.

The story follows Lupita, a police officer in Mexico City who is a recovering alcoholic with a troubled past. She witnesses a high profile political murder and her life is turned upside down as she searches for the killer while battling her inner demons.
